'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' is creating gigantic records at the Box office world wide. The sequel to the 2015 mega blockbuster 'Baahubali' created a world record by releasing in 9000 screens across the globe and 6500 screes within India. The S.S.Rajamouli directorial opened to the screens on April 28, 2017 and has taken an earth shattering opening worldwide with positive reviews pouring in from critics and audiences from every corner of the world.
Sources reveal that the world wide gross collections of 'Baahubali 2' has crossed Rs.504 crores, in its first three day weekend (Apri 28-30, May 1 is a holiday only in a few states including Tamil Nadu in India). This includes Rs.415 grossed from Indian screens and Rs.125 crores from the overseas theatricals.
On the first day, the film collected Rs.121 crores which in itself is a new box office record. India has so many superstars, but a film that does not star any of them has created this record.
Given the immense reception to the film by audience, it is expected that the film's overall collections will touch the magical Rs.1000 crores very soon. As it has collected above Rs.400 crores in India itself, it is expected that the film will easily cross the Rs.1000 crore mark within the theaters in India which will be a landmark in the history of Indian cinema.
The film originally made as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual has been dubbed in Malayalam and Hindi. Telugu, Hindi and Tamil version have got a wide release across India and abroad locations.
