She may be flying from state to state to act in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. She may be a leading heroine in all the three industries. But Sruthi Hassan, the elder daughter of Ulaganayagan Kamalhassan is basically a music bird. In fact she debuted in the film industry as a music director and a singer for her father’s film Unnaipol Oruvan.

The pretty actress has never moved far from her roots. She has crooned in many films under various composers. Recently she has sung a melody song along Anirudh who is also the composer of the song in the film Maan Karate.

Sources say that the Ezham Arivu actress will also be singing in upcoming films of Kamalhassan; Uthama Villain and the Tamil remake of Drishyam. Music for Uthama Villain will be composed by Ghibran while nothing except the hero and director have been confirmed for Drishyam remake.

Apart from her Mother tongue, Sruthi has sung a few songs in Telugu and Kannada films. Soon she will be crooning in the Telugu film Race Gurram in which she is paired up with Allu Arjun. The film has music by Thaman
