Sruthi Hariharan, the Sandalwood actress, was recently in the news when she accused 'Action King' Arjun of sexually harassing her on the sets of a film. The youngster has opened up about the aftereffects of going to the town with the claims.
"Offers have stopped coming to me in good numbers. Before I spoke up against the sexual abuse experience, I used to get at least 3 offers a week. I could choose from a wide range of subjects. Not anymore. I had a hit in September in Kannada. Despite that hit, I have hardly got two offers, both of which are not interesting," Sruthi has said.
Her plight reminds one of Chinmayi, the playback singer. After "exposing" Kollywood poet-lyricist Varaitmuthu, her membership was terminated by Kollywood Dubbing Union on flimsy grounds. Offers from the Tamil film industry have dried up.
