The issue had been around for some time now, that the ramp outside Shah Rukh Khan's house Mannat was posing as a hurdle to the common. Earlier complaints against the ramp had been issued citing that it was a nuisance to the people using the road, especially for those who visit Mount Mary Church nearby. The premises turn out to be more congested during Church's fair, held annually during September.
Now, according to latest reports, the B-Town's Badshah has to give away the ramp, for which a demolition order has been issued. This is owing to the repeated complaints passed on by the members of the NGO Watchdog Foundation. They had also pointed out that besides the ramp, SRK's vanity van which is being parked outside the house takes up most of the space as well. Moreover, the BMC authorities had also received a letter on the same issue from Poonam Mahajan, MP from Mumbai North Central, who had requested for the demolition of the ramp.
BMC officials confirmed this development and stated in an interview that the demolition work will happen after seven days.
