SRK's 'Don 2' turns into Comic Con

When it is Badshahs movie one can surely expect something hatke, unique promotional activity... For his forthcoming Farhan Akhtar's 'Don 2', Shah Rukh Khan has been transformed into a comic avatar, courtesy Comic Con Express Mumbai - a first of its kind initiation.
Comic Con Express - the first ever the travelling version of the Indian Comic Con - the national Indian Comics Convention will be held at the World Trade Centre in Mumbai from 22-23rd October, 2011. There, the first look of 'Don: The Origin', Comic to be unveiled by producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The comic is reported to be a pre-cursor to the Shah Rukh starrer 'Don 2' produced by Excel Entertainment. Besides, the makers for the first time will officially reveal and unveil the look of the 'Don: The Origin' in public and talk about the film and storyline of the comic.
The Comic is basically an original story; taking readers back in time and helping them understand how Don came into being.
Said Ritesh, "Audiences have dictated the need to create. It started with the remake in 2006 and now comes the next chapter. The comic book is a prequel - the making of Don. With this we expect to take Dons fan following to the next level."
While director-producer Farhan stated, "Don as a character, a master mind has created an iconic image for himself which has held good over generations. The second edition that released in 2006 made us realize it was time to comic book the icon. For me a dream is being sketched".
A sequel to the 2006 film 'Don: The Chase Begins Again', 'Don 2: The Chase Continues' also stars Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Boman Irani, Om Puri and Kunal Kapoor in the lead.
