After designing costumes for his favourite actor Shah Rukh for a dozen of years, Karan Johar is officially going to launch his own line of clothing. The famed filmmaker will bring his prêt collection along with noted fashion designer Varun Bahl.

Karan Johar said to sources, “I have been designing for Shah Rukh Khan for 12 years and it is a given that he will be part of my first collection. It will be a menswear collection and will have several other elements which will be a pleasant surprise but I am still in the process of finalising these and so can’t comment at the moment.”

According to sources, Karan’s collection will be launched on October 16^th in the Couture week. The stars who are going to showcase Karan’s clothing include Imran Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and the show-stopper of the show - Shah Rukh Khan. His wife too will walk the ramp and would be the only female model on the show.
