B-town’s Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan will be making his television comeback as a host of the Indian version of an American show ‘Wipeout’.

The Indian version of ‘Wipeout’ will be based on water sports and will be shot entirely in Argentina.

“This show has been aired in 22 countries and all episodes have been shot in Argentina. Almost all countries have gone into two or three seasons,” a source stated.

The reason behind SRK being approached for the show is that he shares good relationship with TV industry biggie Sameer Nair, who also got him on KBC.

The source adds, "When Sameer approached him for the show, SRK promptly agreed. The actor agreed to do the show because his kids love it. And they watch the international version of the show. It is an adventure show with loads of action and comedy. And you will also get to see the comic side of SRK on the show.”

Industry sources say that most of its contestants will be from ‘Fear Factor’ and ‘Bigg Boss’, and TV celebs including Vindoo Dara Singh, Narayani Shastri, Gaurav Chopra, Claudia Ciesla, Debina and Karishma Baktiyaar might also be roped in.

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen on the small screen as a host of game show ‘Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain’.

Bollywood superstars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Madhuri Dixit, Malaika Arora Khan and many others have already appeared on the TV in 2010.
