SRK takes Salman Khan's slot; 'Raees' for Eid 2016

One of the most awaited films of Shah Rukh Khan, 'Raees' will add reel tadka to the Eid of next year. Yes, according to latest buzz, the SRK starrer has been slated to hit the screens during the festival season in 2016. Now its a usual norm of Salman Khan to release his films on Eid. But now here we have the King Khan following the suite.

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, 'Raees' has Shah Rukh essaying the role of a Gujarati Don, and bootlegger. The action thriller has popular Pakistani TV actor Mahira Khan playing opposite King Khan. A mafia drama, 'Raees' also has Nawazuddin Siddiqui featuring as a cop.

The film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment and SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment. Incidentally, this movie has Rahul Dholakia wearing the director's hat after five years.
