SRK takes break from 'Raees' for knee surgery

Following repeated pain and swelling on his left knee, Bollywood Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan reported to have undergone a surgery recently.

As per media sources, the 49-year old star underwent knee surgery on Thursday and expected to get discharged today (Friday). Doctors said that he has responded well to the surgery. They have also advised SRK to take complete rest before he gets back to work. According to hospital authorities, SRK had this surgery for the "chondral wear of Patella, which is due to repeated injuries over the last few years."

Owing to this, SRK said to have taken a break from the shooting schedule of his upcoming film 'Raees'. The actor will resume work after he has recovered completely.
