Bollywood superstar SRK has got into the bad books of the Shiv Sena, the actorÂs honest opinion on players, game and the relationships between neighboring country Pakistan has caught the ire of the said gardeners of the Marathi pride and its fantasy land.
But this time its not against the pride of Maharashtra as it is normally, this time the Sena people are angry by SRKÂs comment on the non-selection of Pakistani players in the IPL auction, SRK has said I truly believe they (Pakistan players) should have been chosen, We would have loved to have Pakistani players if they were made available legally, he is reported to have said.
Reacting to this, Sena has attacked Shah Rukh Khan for lamenting exclusion of Pakistani players from IPL and dared him to take the players in his team Kolkata Knight Riders.
If Shah Rukh wants Pakistani players to play here, he should go to Karachi and Islamabad to play with them...If he includes Pakistani players in his team, he should be aware of the consequences, Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut told reporters here.
Meanwhile, protesting the actor's comment, Sena activists tore posters of SRK's upcoming movie 'My Name Is Khan' at Eternity Mall premises in neighbouring Thane. The activists handed over a letter to the owner of the mall asking to stop release of the movie.
Anyhow, SRK has also commented on the warning given by the Sena Chief Bal Thackery on the inclusion of Australians in the IPL but the current protest is restricted to the Pak issue.
It has also been heard that Aamir has also jump into the controversy and said somewhere that Âsportsman are above nationÂ, now letÂs see how the Sena reacts to this statement. ItÂs interesting to note that the Raj Thackery MNS has kept mum on this issue also. Previously, the Sena supremo attacked cricket legend Sachin and now itÂs the Bollywood superstar SRK whose film ÂMy Name Is Khan is hitting the theatres by 12th of February.
