SRK & Alia Bhatt starrer's pre-production is on

The pre-production work of Karan Johar's next venture, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt is going on in full swing. The film, to be directed by 'English Vinglish' famed helmer, Gauri Shinde, will start its principal photography in the middle of January.

Karan Johar took to Twitter to share this update of late. "@gauris film with @iamsrk and @aliaa08 commences principal photography middle of jan!! Pre production is on full steam now! Exciting!!!!", tweeted the filmmaker.

The untitled film is joint collaboration between Dharma Productions, Red Chillies Entertainment and Hope Productions.
