Srinu Vaitla preferring Varun Tej

Despite disasters like Agadu and Bruce Lee, Srinu Vaitla is arguably Tollywood's Dookudu-fied director ever 'Ready' to re-emerge as a 'King'. Just as Puri Jagannadh has been trying to resuscitate himself with second-line actors like Varun Tej and Kalyan Ram, so is Srinu Vaitla.
Only recently, Vaitla was said to be have been in talks with Ram Charan for another movie, never mind the debacle of Bruce Lee. Looks like the talks didn't fructify. Which is why Vaitla is seriously considering roping in the now-happening Varun Tej.
The news comes in the context of Varun Tej's Rayabhari getting deferred because of issues related to shooting permits in strategic locations.
Let's see if the idea consummates into a film.
