It's known that ace director Srinu Vaitla has a film lined up with the budding star Varun Tej. It is learnt that the film will be launched officially most probably on April 8. According to our sources, Vaitla and Varun are keen on roping in Lavanya Tripathi as the female lead. Discussions with Lavanya are on. Though Lavanya is satisfied with the story, she is yet to give the nod.
The Agadu and Bruce Lee director went to Varun Tej for this film after talks with Ram Charan reportedly didn't fructify. That Krish's Rayabhari with Varun Tej getting deferred because of issues related to shooting permits in strategic locations, only expedited this Vaitla venture.
If this film gets completed this year itself, Varun Tej will have got a major booster shot in 2016.
