Srinivasa Kalyana new attempt, Srini on Arishadwarga

A talented youngster MG Srinivas of Rules`,` Simply Kail Awesome` short films and Topiwala` feature film starring super star Upendra is back in his third directorial venture with common man and Arishadwarga as the theme. It is a journey of youth with Kama, Kroda, Lobha, Moha , Mada and Matsarya (Lust, anger, greed, temptation, pride, jealous). Srinivas is a former RJ and ace dancer is hoping for big hit from Srinivasa Kalyana`.

MG Srinivas has set a good platform for his making but without enough money. He roped in forty plus youngsters for a discussion on his subject via face book. He invited a few of his friends for investment and later Jhankar Movies Bharat Jain joined hands for the film release.

On Friday 17th of February, it is Srinivasa Kalyana` release in 70 plus theatres. The film has nothing to do with 1974 Dr Rajakumar film of the same name.

Midun Mukundan and Raghu Thane are music directors for this Srinivasa Kalyana`. Meeting the demands of director, following the self imposed guidelines and commercial viability were challenging aspects for Midun Mukundan. Raghu Thane from northern Karnataka worked on two songs. One is remixing of one of the songs in the film.

Good looking and silent Ashwin Kadambur a Keralite doing short films in his life was moved with the call from MG Srinivas. He felt it as hoax call but when he was contacted again the seriousness in his developed on this project. He has shot for the film without artificial lights. The Canon 5D Mark 3 magic Lantern camera he has used for more color upgrade in this film. For the first time an Indian film has used this camera for shooting.
