Srimannarayana
For an actor like Balakrishna, who has been seen doling out messages in film after film, Srimannarayana is the right film to come after Simha, Sri Rama Rajyam, and Adhinayakudu. It fits well with his political ambitions, and presents the opportunity to take pot shots at the deplorable standards of today's journalism, not to speak of the appalling levels of political corruption in our society.
If the importance of Balayya's characterization comes first, Ravikumar Chavali's directorial touch and Poluru Ghatikachalam's dialogues can be said to be the film's mainstay. For a movie peopled with six villains, the main one being Suresh, it is only helpful that there are two heroines to romance their way into our hearts - Parvathi Milton, and Isha Chawla.
Vijay Kumar, Suresh, Vinod Kumar, Kota, Jayaprakash Reddy, Krishna Bhagawan, Ahuthi Prasad, Dharmavarapu, MS, Raja Ravindar, Duvvasi Mohan, Rao Ramesh, Nagineedu, Supreeth, Sudha and Sathya Krishna are part of the cast.
Music is by Chakri. Dialogues are by Poloor Ghatikachalam. Cinematography is by T Surendar Reddy. Editing is by Gautham Raju. Art is by Nagendar. Ravikumar Chavali has written and directed the movie.
The film is set to release in the last week of August.
