After a disaster like ‘Mahatma’, which was his prestigious 100th film, Srikanth played hero in ‘Ranga the Donga’ under the direction of GV and it also failed to shake the Box Office.

However, without going into depression, Srikant had signed for two films and is doing both of the simultaneously. They are ‘Dussasana’ under Posani Krishnamurali’s direction and another film is ‘Virodhi’ directed by Neelakanta to be produced by Anil, brother of Srikant.

Virodhi had just completed its shooting in the forest near Gangavati, 15 km away from Hampi. The shooting of the film was resumed in Hyderabad recently and presently doing an outdoor shooting in Vikarabad forests.

Ajay and Kamal Kamaraju are playing key roles in this movie with negative shades. It appears that the film has the backdrop of Naxalism as per the story.
