'Sridevi Soda Center' Trailer: Intense romantic-action drama

Hitherto, 'Sridevi Soda Center' came across as a fun-filled rom-com. The trailer, which was unveiled today, undermines the notion and establishes the film as an intense romantic-action drama where Suribabu (Sudheer Babu), a former jail prisoner, goes on a rampage when caste- and class-conscious elders snatch away his Sridevi (Anandhi).
Produced by 70mm Entertainments, the Karuna Kumar directorial packs so much action. The themes of discrimination, honour, and violence are replete in the story.
With music by Mani Sharma, the film is produced by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy. If the trailer is anything to go by, this one is the 'Sammohanam' actor's most intense film, although the rawness is not as evidence. VK Naresh has a key role, while Nagendra Kasi's story has a place for more than two violent men.
With cinematography by Shamdat Sainudeen, the film has editing by Sreekar Prasad. Production Design is by Ramakrishna Sabbani and Monika. Sound Design is by Sync Cinema.
The film will hit the screens on August 27.
