Close on the heels of the release of 'Kalyanam Kamaneeyam', Santosh Shoban is gearing up for the theatrical release of 'Sridevi Shoban Babu'. The film is going to hit the screens on February 18.

Starring Gouri G Kishan as the female lead, the film's promotions are going to begin soon in earnest. "Exciting updates are going to arrive soon," the makers today said. For the 'Ek Mini Katha' actor, this is going to be his second theatrical release of the year.

Written and directed by Prasanth Kumar Dimmala, the film is a romantic entertainer with kerfuffles and many other elements thrown in for good measure.

Rohini Molleti, recently seen in a substantial role in 'Writer Padmabhushan', has a key role. Naga Babu is part of the cast.

Producers Vishnu Prasad and Sushmita Konidela are confident about the film's theatrical success. Kamran has composed the music, while cinematographer Siddarth Ramaswamy has ensured minimalistic visuals.
