Remember Manjula’s daughter who did a few films in Telugu and then suddenly vanished from the scene? Right now, she has a film lined up for release.

Sridevi has been cast opposite Sivaji in Pellikani Prasad. Though she is not the solo heroine, she is happy to be back in reckoning.

The film happens to be a comedy of sorts and will highlight the need for parents and children to understand each other when it comes to love.

But the message is told in a lighter vein and Sridevi gets to play the main heroine. She has slimmed down considerably and looks fresh.
