There is a buzz that the name of Sridevi is on the recommendation list for this year Padma awardees. The Mahrashtra government is expected to finalise the list soon and will forward it to the Union government.

The pan-Indian response to her comeback venture 'English Vinglish' has made Sridevi happy. "It is a nice feeling. My thanks to everyone who has supported and encouraged the film," says the actress.
