The death of veteran actress and legend Sridevi engulfed the nation amidst sorrow and pain. The final rites along with cremation was conducted in Mumbai yesterday which was witnessed by film fraternity’s leading names in addition to millions of mourning fans thronging the procession.

Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor has released a heartfelt statement which said he was ‘losing a friend, wife, and mother of two young daughters is a loss inexplicable in words’. “To the world she was their Chandni, the actor par excellence their Sridevi but to me she was my love, my friend, mother to our girls, my partner. To our daughters, she was their everything, their life. She was the axis around which our family ran, “ he added.

Boney also stated that the curtains never come down on an actor’s life, because they continue to shine on the silver screen.  Sayin that he wanted to protect his daughters and find a way to move forward, Boney ended his note by saying that their lives will never be the same. RIP Sridevi.
