The profound actress, super star stature in Hindi cinema Sridevi sudden demise has shocked innumerable of people. The Kannada cinema industry mourned for the death of a highly talented actress who hails from South India.
The top actress had acted in six Kannada films in a career of fifty successful years of cinema. It was from 1974 to 1979 Sridevi was part of Kannada cinema industry. It was ‘Muktha Devi’ role in evergreen film of Dr Rajakumar ‘Bhaktha Kumbara’ she made appearance as child actress.
In films like Hennu Samsarada Kannu, Bala Bharatha, Sampoorna Ramayana and Priya starring Rajanikanth and Ambarish in 1979 the stalwart actress was in the cast.
Chandini as she is recognized for her beauty Sridevi acted in ‘Laadla’ that was a remake of Dr Rajakumar starrer ‘Anuraga Aralithu’. Another project she discussed with veteran actor, director and producer Dwarakish was ‘Alada Mara’. Dwarakish wanted to cast Sridevi in Dr Vishnuvardhana film.
