Priya Prakash Varrier became a pan Indian overnight sensation in 2018 after her cute wink in the song "Manikya Malaraya Poovi" from the film 'Oru Adaar Love' caught the imagination of the public. She has since been on a low profile since the film did not live up to its hype and she has been banking on her Bollywood project 'Sridevi Bunaglow'

Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal unveiled the trailer of 'Sridevi Bungalow' on social media. Written and directed by Keralite Prasanth Mambully, the movie features Priya Varrier in the title role. The trailer suggests that the movie will be a suspense crime thriller that portrays the life of a Bollywood heroine.

'Sridevi Bungalow' was announced a year ago and it triggered a controversy over the allegations that it is based on the life of late actress Sridevi. Soon the movie made headlines after the late actress Sridevi’s husband and producer Boney Kapoor sent a legal notice to the movie. However, the team says that it is a fictional story and that it has nothing to do with the life of Sridevi.

Apart from Priya Varrier, 'Sridevi Bungalow' also stars Arbaz Khan, Priyamshu Chatterjee, Aseem Ali Khan, Mukesh Rishi and Lee Nicholas Harris in important roles. The movie is jointly produced by Chandrashekhar SK, Roman Gilbert, Jerome Joseph, Manish Nair, and Rajan Gupta.
