The demise of legendary actress Dridevi brought shock and grief to millions of fans including leading names in the industry who have been paying their condolences to the actress’s family members. The latest update is that the Dubai Prosecution Service has closed their investigations thus bringing an end to the two day wait for expatriation process.

The film icon’s body is en route to Mumbai where the final rites will be done tomorrow. Pertaining to this, the Kapoor family issued a statement expressing their thanks to the media for showcasing sensitivity in its coverage. Apart from this, a detailed schedule for tomorrow involving the actress’s final rites have also been released.

According to the release, the programme schedule for the same on the 28th February is as follows:

9 am: Movement from green acres to Celebration Sports Club

9.30 am to 12.30 pm : condolence and prayers time (for which the hall will be emptied only for the family members)

12.30 pm/1pm :Puja inside auditorium( only family members). This Puja will be conducted for an hour.

2 pm : Movement to Pawan Hans

The release also stated that the funeral and the last rites for Sridevi will be held at Vile Parle Seva Samaj Crematorium and Hindu Cemetery, from 3.30 pm to 5 pm.
