Superstar Sridevi who rules the South and North film industry died a tragic death in the year 2018 and left the nation in shock. As today marks the 59th birthday of this English Vinglish actress, her daughter Janhvi Kapoor has shared an emotional post on social media platforms.

Jahnvi dug out a childhood picture with her mother. In the adorable photo, Sridevi can be seen sharing smiles as she held Janhvi in her arms lovingly. The actress penned a sweet note along with the photo that read, "Happy birthday Mumma i miss you more and more everyday. I love u forever (sic)."

On the other hand, Khushi posted a monochrome picture on her Instagram stories in which the late actress can be seen giving a peck on her daughter Khushi's cheek, while Khushi happily poses for the camera.

Sridevi breathed her last in Dubai in 2018. While it was initially believed that she passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest, after her brother-in-law, Sanjay Kapoor told the media that it was cardiac arrest which claimed her life, Sridevi's death certificate revealed her cause of death to be accidental drowning. The actress's body was brought back to Mumbai later where it was cremated.
