Director Shankar after the tremendous success of Superstar Rajinikanth's '2.0' started shooting for Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' a couple of years back. The mega project however was stalled due to various issues including a fatal on set accident, the death of actors Nedumudi Venu and Vivek and the coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile Shankar has completed seventy five percent of his new biggie 'RC 15' starring Ram Charan Teja, Kiara Advani, Anjali and Jayaram. After completing the film hee is set to resume 'Indian 2' in the last quarter of this year.

In a shocking turn of events miscreants have posted on social media and whatsapp casting calls for 'RC 15' aka 'SVC 50'. Sri Venkateswara Creations owned by producer Dil Raju has issued a stern warning that the company has not given authorization to anyone for its casting and requested caution to aspiring actors and the public. The much respected production house is also bankrolling Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu' directed by Vamshi Paidipally and costarring Rashmika Mandanna.
