Superstar Rajinikanth was supposed to visit the localities of Tamil population in March this year but the visit was cancelled due to resistance from certain political parties in Tamil Nadu.

Many Sri Lankan Tamils had sent letters requesting Rajinikanthe expressing their eagerness to welcome him at their place. Thalaivar in his reply letter to them, had said that he will definitely visit the place at the appropriate time.

Now Ravi Karunanayake, the Foreign Affairs Minister of Sri Lanka who is on his visit to India has spoken about Rajinikanth's visit to the Island nation. Addressing media persons in New Delhi, the Minister said "If Rajinikanth wishes to come to Sri Lanka he can come at any time. There is no opposition for that. He is a popular star in Sri Lanka also. There will be no problem if he visits our country."

The actor who is admired by Tamils living across the globe is presently shooting for 'Kaala' in Mumbai. We hope he will take a call on visiting the neighbourhood country very soon.
