'800' is the upcoming biopic of the Sri Lankan cricketing legend Muthiah Muralitharan. He is regarded as one of the greatest bowlers of all time. The film is directed by newcomer MS Sripathy, who is a former assistant of director Venkat Prabhu. 'Slumdog Millionaire' fame actor Madhurr Mittal will be seen as Muttiah Muralitharan.

As we reported earlier, Sachin Tendulkar unveiled the trailer of 800 in Mumbai today. The 3-minute-long video is now going viral on the internet. This movie narrates the unknown story of Muthiah as a cricketer and Sri Lankan Tamil. While the first half of the trailer shows his early life and hardship in professional cricket, the later half chronicles the political struggles he had to face in his journey.

800 stars Madhurr Mittal, Nasser, Vela Ramamoorthy, Mahima Nambiar, Narain, Rithvik, Riythvika, Antony, Dilipan and others. The trailer looks promising with Ghibran's uplifting musical score, RD Rajasekar's rich visuals and Praveen KL's stunning cuts. The biopic produced by Movie Train Motion Pictures and Vivek Rangachari will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi soon.
