With the whole nation of Sri Lanka and their people in terrified state following multiple explosions in different parts of the country on Sunday, as the nation was offering prayers on Easter, now yet another explosion has reportedly happened in the nation.
It has been said that the explosion was heard in a town located east of the Sri Lankan capital, Colombo and as per police reports, there were no casualties. The Sri Lankan Police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekera said that the police officers are currently investigating the blast which happened on an empty land located behind the Pugoda magistrate's court, 40 km. Ruwan said that there was an explosion behind the court and also said that it was not a controlled explosion like the other blasts that happened. This blast has happened at a period when people are extremely in distress and tension after the Easter Sunday bomb attacks in the nation killing 359 people and also injuring more than 500 people.
