In 2007, when 'Dhee' arrived at the cinemas, it was a game-changer for Vishnu Manchu, writers Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan, Genelia as well as director Sreenu Vaitla. More than 13 years later, the Vishnu-Vaitla duo has once again come together for a double dose of 'Dhee'.
On Monday, marking Vishnu's birthday, 'D&D' was announced. "Here we go again! But this time it’s D&D Double Dose. Very excited to partner with my big brother Sreenu Vaitla garu again. God speed! (sic)," the Manchu actor tweeted.
The film will be written by Gopi Mohan, who wrote the additional screenplay for 'Dhee', and Kishore Gopu. Mahati Swara Sagar is its music director, while Peter Hein will compose action scenes. Editing is by MR Varma.
Vishnu, meanwhile, has completed 'Mosagallu'. The Jeffrey Chin directorial has Kajal Aggarwal as his sister. Suneil Shetty plays a cop. The film's release date is yet to be announced.
