‘SR Kalyanamandapam’, which hit the screens on August 6, has turned out to be a box-office hit. It’s learned that the Kiran Abbavaram-starrer made Rs 7.66 Cr in the Telugu States in its theatrical run. While these are not official figures, it’s unarguable that ‘SRK’ is the first hit post the second wave-induced lockdown.
Nizam’s Rs 2.94 Cr, Ceded’s Rs 1.15 Cr, Uttarandhra’s Rs 0.98 Cr, East Godavari’s Rs 0.51 Cr, West Godavari’s Rs 0.35 Cr, Guntur’s Rs 0.69 Cr, Krishna’s Rs 0.42 Cr, and Nellore’s Rs 0.25 Cr complete the break-up.
The semi-family drama made Rs 0.70 Cr in the overseas territory and the non-Telugu States in India. That makes it Rs 8.31 Cr worldwide.
‘SRK’ made Rs 5 Cr from audio, digital, satellite and Hindi dubbing rights.
The film, also starring Sai Kumar and Priyanka Jawalkar, will stream on Aha from August 28.
