The teaser for ‘SR Kalyanamandapam’ was today unveiled by Vijay Deverakonda. Written by Kiran Abbavaram, the film is directed by Sridhar Gade. “Mazza ochindi teaser.. #SRKalyanamandapam. Very happy to launch this teaser, wishing all things happy and successful to this young bunch,” Deverakonda wrote on Twitter, plugging the 200-second teaser.
There is a girlfriend (Priyanka Jawalkar) who says the male lead will always be a dog as far as she is concerned, there is the typical cinematic father (Sai Kumar) who has given up all hope on his son, and there is a dream (the hero sets up a wedding hall named SR Kalyanamandapam).
The action part is reserved for the last leg of the teaser. The characters seem colourful, with even Sai Kumar trying to tickle the funny bone.
With Srikanth Iyengar, Thulasi, Tanikella Bharani and others in other roles, the film has cinematography by Viswas Daniel. Music is by Chaitan Bharadwaj. Produced by Pramod and Raju, its production design is by Sudheer Macharla. Bhaskarabhatla and Krishnakanth are the lyricists.
The comedy-drama is scheduled to hit the screens this Summer.
