'SR Kalyanamandapam' has been an awaited release. Its teaser has received positive feedback everywhere. Starring Kiran Abbavaram in the role of a gutsy college youngster, the film also features Dialogue King Sai Kumar as his father and Priyanka Jawalkar of 'Taxiwala' fame as his heroine. 'SRK' is now in the news for closing a superb theatrical deal.

It's learned that the romantic action drama has been sold to Shankar Pictures for a highly impressive amount of Rs 9 Cr. This doesn't include the Overseas release rights and audio rights.

Besides 'SRK', Kiran is doing 'Sebastian P.C. 524' in both Telugu and Tamil. The thriller is done with its shoot and it will hit the screens later this year. Starring Namratha Darekar as the heroine, the film has Komalee Prasad in a key role. As for 'Sammathame', the other film of Kiran on the floors, its shoot is pending to the tune of 20 days.

Kiran is on a roll in a big way. Besides the above three movies, he has already given the nod to four other movies. A Telugu-Tamil movie will be announced on the eve of his birthday, on July 15.
