AR Murugadoss has opened up on 'SPYder'. Saying that he and Mahesh Babu had planned to work together way back in 2006 or 2007 itself, the director has told a national daily that the villain of the film needn't be juxtaposed with a Hollywood villain. (He has said this in the wake of comparisons with Batman's Scarecrow).
He has suggested that SJ Suryah, who is the antagonist, mostly operates surreptitiously. He is always engaged in a battle of wits and it's up to the intelligent cop, the hero, to nab him. Because the villain operates rather secretly, he is all the scarier.
The Desperado of 'SPYder' is a one-man rogue army!
A grand event will be held on Sept 9 in Chennai to welcome Mahesh to Tamil cinema. The Telugu-Tamil bi-lingual will hit the screens on Sept 27.
