The first film in the history of Kannada cinema ‘Antharthma’ by director Shekar in Friends Productions has obtained 2 lakh viewers giving money to the ticket price one month in advance.

The cash register for ‘Anthrathma’ is ringing even before the film is shown. To get audience attraction, the team of ‘Antharthma’ went ahead in announcing the ‘Lucky Draw Voucher’.

This is worth Rs.100 sold via cable networks, shops and business establishments. By paying Rs.100 the audience would get Rs.40 worth audio CD of the film and for remaining Rs.60 he gets an entry to watch the film ‘Antharthma’ and eventually he will be a part of the lucky dip.

Rs.25 lakh lucky dip for 1004 audience would be distributed after a live show in TV9 says Nagaraj who heads the Promos-9 team. Besides giving away Rs.25 lakh worth prizes the team of ‘Antharthma’ is constructing five houses worth Rs.5 lakh in the flood affected areas of Northern Karnataka.

‘Antharthma’ starring Mithun Tejaswi, Vishaka Singh, Rangayana Raghu, Umasri, Harish Roy and others has music scored by Giridhar Diwan. Director Shanker has penned the story and screenplay for the film. Krishna and Jayadev are co producers.

‘Antharthma’ is set for release in the last of week of April 2010.
