Actor Prithviraj unveiled the motion poster of his forthcoming venture Kumari, that ahs Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead role. Unveiling the spine-chilling motion poster, Prithviraj wrote, "Their promise. Her nightmare. It’s a privilege for @prithvirajproductions to be presenting this fascinating film set against the backdrop of native folklore and myths of our land," (sic)

On the other side, Aishwarya while unveiling the motion poster wrote, "A story that has given me sleepless nights for the enormity of its setting and scope ...A tale that will take us back to our earliest memories of storytelling... Absolutely thrilled to be a part of this collaboration !!!

Touted to be a fantasy-thriller that narrates a mystical tale inspired by Indian folklore, the film is written and directed by Ranam (2018) fame Nirmal Sahadev. The movie's cinematography is by Jigme Tenzing and editing by Sreejith Sarang. Jakes Bejoy will be composing the music. Presented by Prithviraj and his partner Supriya Menon under their production banner, more details regarding the case are yet to be disclosed by the team.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya Lekshmi has a number of new projects in the pipeline, including Manu Ashokan's Kaanekkane with Tovino Thomas. In Tamil, she has Karthik Subbaraj's Jagame Thandhiram with Dhanush and Mani Ratnam's magnum-opus Ponniyin Selvan in her kitty.
