'Spider-Man: Homecoming' is going to be a LOT Different than You'd Expect!

We all fell in love with the series when Peter Parker, a science geek, turned his mission to save the world from the cruel-minds (Vulture and Venom) and become the hero. Sure, Captain America showed us that Spider-Man is a great performer even when he's a part of the team, but the real scoop is seeing Spider-Man in some solo action. His action, his stunts and a mystery factor surrounding the movie.
Directed by Jon Watts and produced under Marvel Studios, Pascal Pictures and Columbia Pictures, the movie is gearing up for one of the most anticipated action-packed releases of 2017.
Tom Holland is starring as the Spider-Man and Zendaya as Michelle (his romantic interest) in the movie with Robert Downey Jr. as Vulture and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May.
That's a great cast and everything but the there are some major risks that the makers are willing to take to sell the movie to the audience, which are as follows.
1.Spider-Man's Costume:
Spidey's costume is going to be a little different with actual spider crawlers on his costume. However, in the end, Spidey's decision to switch back into the original Spider-Man costume is done as a part of the plot to impress the audience and for the likes of it.
2.Peter's Bestie:
Peter's best friend in the original series (comics) is a Koran kid named Ganke but in this movie, the friend is not so Korean and is a white polished version of a more Asian' looking artist. Why Hollywood? Why do you just HAVE to do this?
3.The Revamped Version of Vulture:
So, when you think of Vulture, you'd imagine his comic version. His green spandex costume with a little fur around his neck, making him like a lizard in ballerina's costume, but the makers promise a much more serious version of Vulture, and trying not to make him look so comical.
4.Aunt May is Played by Marisa Tomei:
When you picture Aunt May, you'd picture her to be a homely mother-like figure, who showers unconditional love and support to Peter, but Gah! Marisa Tomei, the glamorous version of anything that is not close to homely, is playing the role of Aunt May and the makers keep repeating that she will be “very convincing in the role”, which the fans of the original series are not okay with. She is a great artist for sure, but fans were quick to judge, given her empire on stunning looks.
5.There's no Venom:
Now, you'd expect Venom to be present in the sequel of Spider-Man and his homecoming after almost a year but nah! Venom is NOT going to be seen in the movie and in fact, Venom will turn out to be a special spin off from Spider-Man itself, played by Tom Hardy called Venom. Yeah, let that sink in. That just sounds like a perfect plan to ruin a master-piece.
But hey, who's complaining?
People are still going to go to the theatres to watch spider-man in a not so original costume, with a not so homely Aunt May and a revamped version of Vulture and polished version of an Asian kid….right?
Remember the date, folks! July 7th 2017 is when the Spider-Man: Homecoming is going to hit the theaters.
Stay tuned for more on this!
