Call it the worth that a remake of a hit film possesses. Speedunnodu has done a whopping business even before its release.

This Bheemineni Srinivas production has already made Rs. 25 cr. The film has many pluses going for it: It's a remake of the Kollywood blockbuster Sundar Pandian (which was remade into Kannada as Raja Huli and went on to become a big hit in Karnataka), the climax, the director's image (he has at least half a dozen blockbusters to his credit, besides being known as someone with a knack for adaptations), and Bellamkonda Srinivas' image for being a good dancer.

Since the music by DJ Vasanth is promising, and Tamannah Bhatia's presence is much publicised, the buyers seem to have only been all the more optimistic about the film's prospects.

Starring Sonarika, Prakash Raj, Sathya, and others, this film will release on Feb 5.
