Speculation on Mani Ratnam's next

It's known that Mani Ratnam's next is going to have Karthi and Sai Pallavi (of Premam fame) in the lead roles. While Karthi is cast in the role of a pilot, Sai Pallavi plays a doctor.
The movie will go on the floors later this year. Meanwhile, it's confirmed that Mani will shoot the film's first schedule in the picturesque locations of Kashmir Valley. There is a speculation that the film is an intense drama that touches upon the element of Jehadi terrorism.
The last time Mani told a subject with such a line, it was in Roja, which became a stupendous aesthic affair, thanks mainly to AR Rahman's timeless music. That the Mani Ratnam-AR Rahman combo yet another time for such a film is soothing news.
