Actor Dhanush, who was last seen on screen in the pongal release Pattas was supposed to have a release today, as his 40th movie Jagame Thandiram directed by Karthik Subbaraj was initially announced as a May 1 release.
However due to Coronavirus pandemic, and the lockdown imposed, shootings have been stopped and releases have been postponed. Today, the team released a special new poster, as Karthik Subbaraj tweeted "If not for the Bloody Virus.. Today would be #JagameThandhiramFDFS Hoping for the Best..விரைவில்...ஜகம் சுகமடைந்ததும்...ஜகமே தந்திரம்!! Coming Soon to Cinemas... Jagame Thandiram also stars Aishwarya lekshmi, Kalaiyarasan, Joju George, Sanchana Natarajan, Hollywood actor James Cosmo and many others, and produced by Y Not Studios and Reliance entertainment has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
