When you get a bit more cultural reflection and social representation in a film, probably that would be the creation of Prabhu Solomon. Prabhu is the one who travels to produce impeccable sequences and casts debutants to induce audience to come into his script's reality. With a convenient gap between his films, he enhances viewer's aesthetics.
The film Mynaa` had given a new scope to Prabhu even though he had done 6 films before. The film with simple template of a love couple stood out for its extraordinary execution and strong characterization. Amala Paul carved a pivotal place in the industry after Mynaa`. The film mainly revolved around the Kerala border of Tamil Nadu and it added flavour to the intense love story.
Prabhu Solomon then came with a complete entertainment package Kumki` casting Vikram Prabhu and Lakshmi Menon in the lead. He never compromised his script for its commercial quotient and the film also carried his own sort of novel narration. His portrayal of mountain range people and the cinematography of M.Sukumar made Kumki` a realistic one.
'Kayal` which showcased the director's passion for travel on screen is an unadulterated love story which recreated the Tsunami in the climax. Reports said that Solomon had travelled over 80 locations across the country to shoot the film. Framing Tsunami with CG is a tough task but he made that within the budget of Rs. 15 crores.
For the first time Prabhu Solomon has gone big with Dhanush for his upcoming venture Rail` with Keerthy Suresh as the lead lady. First look posters of the film were released recently and gathered positive responses all over. Rail` is said to be a love story between a railway pantry worker and an assistant of a heroine.
The elegant director`s endurance in filming his vision is something immeasurable. He takes a lot of time to research, travel and cast to create a movie. He stands unique in his way even after the arrival of hilarious and hardworking young directors in the industry. We can expect a quality film again from this Bramma` soon in Rail`.
