It's that priceless song that heralds the union of two of the greatest singers of our times. KJ Yesudas and SP Balasubrahmanyam have blithely rendered a song for a Malayalam-Tamil bilingual. This is their first creative collaboration after 27 years. The last time they sang together was for Mani Ratnam's 'Thalapathi' ('Dalapathy').
What brought them together? Music director M Jayachandran's desire to see the celebration of the Kerala-Tamil Nadu friendship. The song's lyrics celebrate the cultures of the two states through the voices of the iconic singers. SPB and Jesudas have appeared in the song.
The film reportedly delves into the issue of water scarcity along the border of the two states.
Jayapradha, Revathy, Pasupathy, Parthepan, Archana, Nasser, Parvathy Nambiar, and Anu Hasan are part of the cast.
