Superstar Rajinikanth has given continous forty days and is shooting for his new film 'Thalaivar 165' directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sun Pictures. Major scenes are canned in Darjeeling and its surroundings. The film has an ensemble cast comprising of Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha, Yogi Babu and Muniskanth among others.

The latest news is that the intro song for Rajini in 'Thalaivar 165' will be sung by S. P . Balasubramaniam in Anirudh's music. It is worth mentioning that almost all the intro super hit songs of Rajini like "Vandhendaa paalkaran" ('Annamalai), "Athaandaa Ithaandaa' ('Arunachalam'), "Oruvan Oruvan Muthalali" ('Muthu'), "En paeru Padaiappa" ('Padaiappa'), "Devudaa Devudaa" ('Chandramukhi') "Ballelakka ballelakka" ('Sivaji'), "Puthiya Manithaa" ('Enthiran') have been rendered by SPB.

Only in 'Kabali' and 'Kaala' SPB has not sung Rajini intro and this news should come as a great bonus for all the Rajini-SPB fans.
