Director AR Murgadoss is one of the top directors of kollywood and had last directed Superstar Rajinikanth, Nayanthara starrer action entertainer Darbar which had Rajnikanth playing a police officer after decades.

Following this, AR Murugadoss is set to join hands with Vijay for the actor's 65th film, and this marks the duo's fourth collaboration after Thuppakki, Kaththi and Sarkar and an official announcement on the project is expected soon.

Singer SP Balasubramanyam has been treated at a private hospital in Chenna after testing positive for COVID 19. AR Murugadoss has praised the legendary singer for giving immense happiness since childhood with his songs and has invited people for a prayer on August 20th at 6 PM. It must be noted that SP Balasubramanyam had recently crooned the Chumma Kizhi number in Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss.
