Legendary singer S P Balasubrahmanyam seems to be on a charity spree. On Sunday, he gave donations to three social establishments related to AIDS-affected children, old age home and school.

According to sources, it has been a regular practice for the singer-actor-producer and his family members to donate for noble causes and this time they selected these institutions.

Meanwhile, actor-director R Parthiepan on Sunday conducted a blood donation camp in Chennai, which saw huge turn out of donors. Celebrities including Vivek, Rohini and others took part in the event and batted for the cause of blood donation.

In his address, Vivek hailed Parthiepan for his social service activities and said everyone should involve themselves in doing good to the society. "Blood donation can save many lives. So more and more should come forward to donate blood," he said.
