Directed by the Superstar's daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth, 'Kochadaiyaan' narrates the fictitious tale of an emperor and his son. Rajinikanth plays dual roles in the film, with Shobhana as the pair for the father and Deepika Padukone as the love interest of the son.
