The demise of S.P. Balasubrahmanyam one of the most celebrated playback singers in Indian film history has left millions of fans and celebrities numb. Social media is flooded with tributes and Simbu has released a long statement in which he has recalled two important milestone moments he had with the legendary singer.
Simbu in his tribute message has written that when he was a small boy SPB had come to sing a song in his father T. Rajendhar's music and he was the sound recorder. Simbu says that any other singer would have refused to be recorded by a small boy but SPB encouraged him with a smile and gave full cooperation much to the delight of his family.
STR has also recalled that in his first movie as hero 'Kadhal Azhivathillai', SPB sang a peppy number "Ivan Thaan Nayagan" and only because of him singing those words he (STR) is continuing his film journey as a hero. Simbu has concluded that he is bidding farewell now but is waiting to welcome SPB again into this world.
