Actor, singer and producer SPB. Charan has given in his own words a pleasant update on his father SPB that his condition is stable and remains unchanged after the previous update and additionally now he is undergoing physiotherapy as well.

Charan has added that though he has not visited his father today the news coming in from the hospital is that he is on the right path to recovery. He has once again thanked all those who are continuously supporting the family through prayers for the legend.

S.P. Balasubrahmayam one of the biggest names in India in film music got admitted to the MGM Hospitals in Chennai on August 5th after testing positive for COVID 19 with mild symptoms. But on the 13th night his condition deteriorated suddenly and has since been on life support with ventilators and ECMO. A couple of days back he has been taken off sedation and has shown strong signs of recovery bringing relief to millions of his fans around the globe.
