Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh may soon be seen in a Malayalam film produced by U Pradeep and directed by Ummar Karikkad.

These two journalists-turned filmmakers have roped in the P3 politician to do act in their maiden venture ‘Bombay Mittaai’.

The film takes a look at youths becoming unwitting pawns in the business of superstition though in a humourous way.

Amar Singh plays a key role of a musician along with actor-dancer Neelambari Perumal. Neelambari Perumal who? The daughter of former chief minister of North East Provincial Council in Sri Lanka and ex-militant leader Varadaraja Perumal. Dimple Kapadia is also likely to play a pivotal role in the film.

A high-profile team indeed.
