SP Balasubrahmanyam has tested negative for COVID-19. The legendary singer, who was admitted to a Chennai hospital more than a month ago, is also showing signs of firm recovery.
His son SP Charan on Monday revealed that his father is still on a ventilator but him testing negative for the virus is good news. "We are hoping and expecting his lungs to heal fast," Charan said, expressing delight over a "small celebration" for mother Savithri and SPB on their wedding anniversary.
"Dad is watching a lot of cricket and tennis on his iPad. He is happy that the season has started," Charan added.
Physiotherapy sessions are helping the singer. "Let's keep hope alive," Charan added.
